This week’s post is an introduction to myself as I start my new journey as a virtual office admin!

Oh, hey!

Welcome to my blog! I’ve tried so many times to start writing, and I kept getting hung up, worrying if I was doing it exactly right (this isn’t my first rodeo procrastinating starting a new project). I don’t often find pithy sayings helpful, but one I actually like when I’m dragging my feet starting a new creative project is “don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”

So here I am. Instead of sitting nicely at my desk sipping a fresh cup of tea, I’m slouched on my couch like a gremlin, probably dehydrated because my water bottle is on the other side of the room. Anyways, here we go! Join me on my new adventure as a virtual office administrator!

Who am I?

My name is Krista! I’m a small business owner, artist, and a pet parent to a very sassy German Shepherd mix and two tabby cats. I enjoy knitting and crochet, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading, baking, and spending time outside. I’m also the creative lead at Citrine Sea Design, my little online shop where I sell original stickers, laser-cut jewelry, and home decor.

What is a Virtual Office Administrator?

Also known as a virtual assistant, I help fellow small business owners with vital behind-the-scenes tasks. I handle things like inbox organization, calendar management, customer service, research, and graphic design. As you might imagine, these tasks tend to take up a lot of time in the day that could be spent on growing your business or just taking a bit of extra time for yourself!
